A proper diet is an essential key to help prevent stretch marks.  Your outer appearance is very much related to what you digest into your body.   The development of acne is a great example of this.  If you eat a lot of greasy or sweet foods, than your chances of developing acne is higher.

Eating diets rich in Omega 3 Fatty acids foods that are found in such foods as salmons, sardines, mackerel, and walnuts, can really help to optimize your health.  Foods rich in vitamin E such as nuts, and green leafy vegetables can really protect your from getting stretch marks.

Your diet actually does play a massive role and can determine to a large extent whether or not you will develop stretch marks. When it comes to healthy skin care, it is obvious as to what you need to do in order to avoid getting stretch marks altogether.  First and foremost, you’ll need to eat well-balanced meals that are in line with your own health guidelines. 

Most people hear all the time that they need to eat a balanced and nutritious meal, but this is usually in conjunction with losing weight and in avoiding illness.  This is true; however many don’t realize this can apply to skin care as well.

Finally, if you are looking for relief against stretch marks, then don’t just look at topical creams, lotions, laser treatments etc… Although these can all help, you must also consider eating a proper diet which is one of the most important factors in preventing stretch marks.
